I was talking to a co-worker who has a high-school age son. She said he was telling her about "Furries". You really need to sit down before reading this shit: These are kids who wear cat ears, tails and furry mittens to school and "meow" instead of speak. Yes...you read right. AND...are you ready for this...if someone teases or makes fun of them, it's automatic 3-day in school suspension. Her son's friend barked at one of them and had to sit out three days.

I am almost never speechless (though some wish I was), but I got nothing. She started laughing at me because all I could do is stare with my mouth open. I'm already lecturing my children that in no way should they even consider for one millisecond sending their kids anywhere but private school.

Oh ya, it is unreal. Neighbor is a middle school band director. School board has sent legal teams to schools to "educate" the teachers in the politically correct way to address/handle the whole gender identification thing. 160 kids and he has to remember the requested pronoun for each student, some of which change daily. He had one that identified as lettuce. I would not survive in the educational system.

Read the other day Canada now has "medically assisted suicide" and health care being "free" up there (courtesy of government) doctors are required to advocate it as a cost saving measure. The article included an interview with a disabled veteran who was being pressured to end his life

I know the Nassau County, FL president of the School Board. Apparently, the superintendent asked what the plan was to do about the Furries. Well, nothing as it goes against the school board policies. No special accommodations or anything like that and the kids have to speak. No animal sounds. Last year, one demanded a litter box and was told to go pound sand.

Beyond ridiculous. So called 'parents' and teachers have, and are, raising generations of fail-to-launch, emotionally crippled parasites.

I guess a 'furry' wouldn't do to well in combat, or roofing a house, or doing a timing belt replacement on an engine.
