There wouldn't be a drunk driver problem if the courts actually punished drunk drivers. I've had three good friends killed by drunks over the years. The last one was on a 6 line freeway (in each direction 6 lines), when a wrong way drunk hit him headon. The guy got 6 years, and then was out in 18 months because he cried that his daughter was growing up and he was missing it. He was supposed to pay a half a million bucks to my friends estate, but without a survivor, they just went ahead and dropped that too. The document setting him free was signed for approval by none other than the dirty whore that's VP now.

In every case I know of with a DUI death, the drunk hasn't even served a decade and even gets their license back later...!!!! Oh yeah, that's going to stop drunk driving for sure.
