My wife and I have an understanding after 45 years of marriage. If either of us say that we need to leave at “X o’clock AIS) that means at that time your ass is in the seat of the car at the designated time. If the AIS is not used, then things can get a little iffy for her

Married 28 years. Never been an issue from the start. During the initial dating crap, she did not have call waiting. This was a problem for me when I would call just to say hi or make a plan.

I really didn't care if she talked for hours with friends, but I was always getting busy signals. I blew her off. It had been several days, and she came by to ask what was wrong and I told her. "I cannot get through to you on the phone."

Get call waiting, she can put her friend on hold for a minute, talk to me and then go back and finish.

I always like to be a tad early wherever we go and not fashionably late. Military and later jobs were all time related. She learned.

She just seems to base her schedule on a slightly different time zone...

Simple. Leaving at 4, she starts getting ready at 3, I start getting ready at 3:55.

Thank goodness no problem with my wife but my ex thought the time people asked you to be at their house was the time she started getting ready. Drove me crazy.

Maybe 4 or 5 days out of all those years, she had to wait for me.

I am always on time or early.....she is pretty good,maybe once in awhile late but not often.

She left 10 years ago. Worked out pretty good for me.

Now, this chick I was seeing around the holidays last year couldn't be on time for anything. It was infuriating especially when you buy expensive tickets to a concert and show up late because she can't decide which boots to wear

I told her that was a no-go for me and ended up having to ghost her. Not putting up with that shit among all the other crap she was pulling.

I have the opposite problem. When she says 4pm, then she's in the car waiting for me at 3:55. Then she lists all the things that I may have forgotten (turned off lights, locked doors?..).
