Think my doggo is stressing out lately... Started when i was gone for close to a month. Now he's never away from Wifey's side 24/7. Drinks too much water, gets me up 2 times a night yet sleeps all day.
He had accident in house when i was gone which was number 1 ever. He doesn't do alone well and may have ruined him being alone so much, so question is..
Does anyone have a stressed out doggo and what do you give to them help calm down.
Have more tests strips on way as last batch went bad as he had kidney issues years back(pesticide poisoning from food) just to rule it out. Don't think it's the issue as normal lookin and smelling.
He's in no pain, eats less but he's old and does exactly nothing since so hot out. Intestines working fine, actually perfect as he's had a couple issues also. So no blockages.
Just think he's stressing over his momma and afraid to be left alone (which never happens for more than a couple hours except that one trip).
Has hip issues which supplements have done wonders for along with keeping weight down(extra padded bed also).
When his momma comes home he's like a puppy running around happy as hell. He's a pack dog and only truly at peace when everyone home, been cleaned, in their appointed spots and he's guarding us. Weird dog I know. I may need to get him laid LOL...

could be because of the heat same thing with my dog , when outside he doesnt act right until he gets inside and seems to get better because inside house its nice and cool, just my opinion

Very well could be, been a very long hot streak this year. I know it's dragging me down some, he's 11 plus so no puppy either. Old sucks.

yea my dog is also 11 and yea , he is definitely getting sluggish unless you have food then he becomes a puppy again, lol
