Will there ever be a "VetteBarn Cruise In I"?

I was just curious....has there ever been any mention of a first ever "VetteBarn Cruise In". I know with many of you being banned, frustrated, or not liking the corvetteforum for whatever reasons, would not be supporting that site's Cruise In. What about something from this site? I miss the days of the old when it was all about meeting up with friends, talking about corvettes and mingling. I won't go getting into politics of the NCM or the CorvetteForum but for many reasons the attendance is so terrible at the event now, it is almost embarrassing to go to it with a friend that has never been. There is no fire or enthusiasm anymore, perhaps a new fresh start from a different place that has familiar faces would be cool.

It's called the barn raising being held outside of Dallas...all funds raised will be sent to the Corvette Museum...have a look around. It's being held next weekend.

This is actually our second party, but last year it was just some of the "familiar faces" hanging out. This year, it's officially tied in with The Vette Barn.

Thanks for the info everybody sorry I did search but used "cruise in" for the terms, as to what Iam use to...I have never been to Texas...unfortunately with less then a few days left and for the fact that Iam going to Talladega next week I won't be able to make it this year but it will definitely be on my mind for next year!!!
I see you guys have the use of Texas Motorspeedway this year! AWESOME! I hope your able to get it again next year! I look forward to seeing pictures and hopefully attending next year if it should go down! Have fun everybody!

There are not many reasons, there is one. The place is run by assholes.

They banned a good number of people who went to cruise in and the rest are sick of their shit.

As far as CF goes. It's sponsor driven now, that's what happens when big business takes over. I preach and preach about things like this to only be dismissed and accused of hating big business, which I don't. But I also understand how the world and business works.

There's also a dying breed of Hot Rodders and people have come in who don't have an understanding of Hot Rodding or vettes and the history that goes/comes with it.

being taken over by yuppies and wanta bes who aren't concerned about the brotherhood.

hell I got into it one day with a damb ass on CF because he said waving was stupid and he wouldn't do it. I told him I would one finger wave at him and he threatened to cut my finger off.

yeah, that's what's taking us over folks. Enjoy it while you can and before the greenies and liberals put an end to it.

Oh for some reason I thought it was on Mem weekend. If I wasn't going on the Hot Rod Power Tour in two weeks I most certainly would come down. I love texas.

I just came back from a gathering in Decatur, Il a couple weeks ago with some Illinois guys. Good time!
