The vaccinated, as of right now, are for the vast majority not ending up in the ICU. Greater than 95% of our current ICU Rona PTS are not vaccinated.

Even within families, the vaccinated aren’t very sick compared to their unvaccinated family members.

So…. I “believe” that vaccination help prevent sever illness, for how long??? Don’t know. Also know that monoclonal AB infusions in the first few days are like a miracle.

Other than that I’m a dumb ass and don’t know anything.

I’m not a conspiracy theory person. That said, explain these graphs to me. They’re from the World Health Organization, who I assume you trust. The WHO also admits that the most widely used test for COVID returns a positive result for the flu. We’ll never know how many flu cases were misdiagnosed as COVID.

My hospital system uses rapid DNA and send out PCR. They differentiate between COVID and Influenza A/B subtypes. Unaware and not seen them cross test +. Can you show any other items details okc which manufacture or what type of testing this occurred with?

The graphs show the number of cases of seasonal flu. It dropped to almost zero in March 2020 and has been there since. Data from WHO shows almost no cases of the flu for the past 18 months. Do you believe that’s true?

In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test. CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.

Ok. Need more info. You provided a quote above, I need context, when was that released, data etc. I have not heard anything about this testing issue and know it’s not happening in our facility. We send out confirmation testing for COVID.

I hate the CDC and the WHO as much, if not more, than most BUT, the tests absolutely CAN differentiate between flu and Covid. It is a misinterpretation of information.

The CDC provided test protocols for PCR tests and I won't pretend to know the scientific explanation but there is a specific element of the covid virus that is detected. That component does not exist in the flu virus.

Yep. Been diagnosing a ton of Influenza B last few weeks. Primarily nasal congestion with that one. Influenza A doesn’t usually hit till after Thanksgiving and most seasons last through March.


Flu was less than prior years for sure but never disappeared.

Even Pre COVID. Some flu years are really bad, some are super mild.
