Scientist school relies on objective, peer reviewed evidence and actual statistics. Got any for what you “fixed?”

No? Didn’t think so.

Assumptions, conjecture, speculation, correlation and beliefs aren’t objective proof of anything.

How is that accurate? Why don't those efforts work for Covid...that's what they were put in place for?

How does my mask stop the flu, but not Covid?

It’s almost a religion to many people. They “believe” it’s a super-deadly virus. They “believe” whatever the government and media say. They “believe” it’s worth giving up freedoms and civil liberties in the name of an illusion of safety. They “believe” masks have saved thousands to millions of lives with NO OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER. They don’t believe, or understand, basic statistics. They don’t believe there is a difference between correlation and causation. They don’t understand there’s a huge difference between dying with COVID and dying from COVID.

And on. And on. And on.

I'm entertained by all the people that "know somebody". Constant stories... I know a guy that was a fitness buff, 21 years old, never sick a day in his life and he bought gas one day and now he's dying on a ventilator.

I know a lady who laid down for a nap and woke up unable to breathe.

I know a guy that got it 4 times and it was because he went to church.

On and on.

80% of all COVID-related deaths in the U.S. are people over 65 and most had one or more medical issues - and we have 4 years olds wearing masks and most schools are closed. No. ****ing. Sense.

So what we're going to do is not have anymore sporting events so will not get the flu, Covid or just about any other disease. My God why didn't we thing of that before.

I'm for social distancing of 6 ft because the germ can't travel any farther, forever.

Think about the things that have been targeted.

Things that bring joy, happiness, relief.

Movies
Bars
Church
Gyms
Parties
Sports events
Concerts
Visiting family

This is about breaking the human spirit. Just like they tame wild animals. Break their spirit until they just comply.

This is what you do. The Gov. just made a curfew from 10pm to 5am and we said Fk off. And the police did nothing and won't do anything about it.

Dr. Fauci says we’ll be wearing masks at least until 2022. The head of the World Health Organization recently said we’ll be wearing them forever. Concerts? Sporting events? Nope, can’t have those, at least with people there in person.

I prescribe albuterol for the chest tightness and also RX either pulmicort respimat inhaler or nebulizer ampules if they have one. The pulmocort reduced the inflammatory reaction in the lungs, which is the part that usually lands folks in the hospital on nasal canula O2 or the vent.

As I’m sure you know if your O2 levels drop below 90%, get to hospital.

Hope you feel better soon.
Yes I have both a rescue inhaler and a steroidal inhaler. Over the course of a few hours I took several hits from each and the oxygen is back up to 94-95% now.

A friend of mine had it back in Sept. She said she had to take naps in the afternoons for a few weeks afterward.

On and on.

Somebody didn't pay attention to their ABC's......always be chanting.

Had they gone to church but continuously shouted "justice for George Floyd," they would have been fully protected from getting sick.

People who are saying "it isn't the flu", because it lasts a long time and leaves a lot of damage behind, have just never had a sufficiently bad flu.

In 1999, I was 35 years old, and in the late stages of training for a half marathon, in other words, young and in excellent shape. I got the seasonal flu that resulted in a SARS event (SARS is the thing that actually kills you, and ANY flu can turn into SARS) so severe that there were a few days where I was literally afraid to breath out, because I wasn't sure I could breathe back in again. The acute portion of the disease lasted about 3 weeks, and it took about a year before I felt reasonably normal again. I have scarring on my lungs from it that my doctor says is visible on an X-ray, but says it is relatively minimal given the severity of my disease.

This is why, if you are sick, the thing you need to do is STAY HOME. A regular seasonal flu can, and occasionally does, kill even young very healthy people. I was almost one of them.
