Default Ammo and Animals
So i'm digging in the back of the ammo vault, and find some 12 GA shotgun ammo that my dad gave me. Hmmm....Montgomery Wards, that's got to be some old stuff, likely 25 years old or more. case of 20 boxes, 25 rounds each. hey, a receipt still tucked inside: $41.00! that makes each box at about $2 each.

looks like it is #8 shot, good for range use. and then I turn the box over to read what is printed on it, and find this.

well, either the Fred Bear museum in Michigan was correct, and Snipe do exist, or someone had a funny sense of humor long ago.

no, it's a land animal. the mounted version they had was about 15-18" long, and the front feet were pointed frontwards, but the back feet were pointed backwards, so you could not tell if it was coming or going.

rabbits also listed, so shotguns are good for birds and other non-flying critters.
