I don’t blame you. He was a pretty smart guy and wrote some good sci-fi and a couple of westerns before he went totally off his nut. He got nuthin on Asimov.

We had possession of UFO's since after WW2. We got the first UFO from Italy in the 1940's. (the incident happened in the 1930's but we only got the craft in the 1940's) Then we got 2 UFOs from the Roswell incident and several more since. They have been actively trying to reverse engineer those craft with limited success. Some of our technical advances came from that research but I doubt that we ever were able to replicate their propulsion system. Lockheed Martin and Boeing have possession of most craft as private business doesn't have to abide by FIA requests.

One day 20 years ago at our local RC Airpark, a bunch of us were out flying. This lady came with her son to fly his plane. She was also an airline captain.

They stayed for about an hour or so and then left. They hopped in their vehicle and the road in and out was a straight mile long. Some of us walking to a table not more than a few seconds away and we went to look down the road and no vehicle anywhere! No way to exit and both sides with open fields before the main road way up ahead.

Just vanished. A week or so later one of the guys read an article about an airline crash from several years earlier and some pics showed this same woman and her son.
