Had a buddy in Nashville in the mid-60s who built a 6-car 1/32nd replica of LeMans complete with the Michelin tire over the track. He would periodically hold 24-hours runs to simulate the actual "24 Heurs du Mans".

You'd better have operating lights in your car as at least seven hours would be run with only minimal lighting over the track and it was hard to determine where your car was (the trick was to lightly dye the "grain of wheat" bulbs a different color from everyone else). Running your car down the Mulsanne Straight and knowing when to get off the juice (pun intended) prior to flipping off the track at Tertre Rouge was critical during the night runs.

Totally. BTDT as far as Disney is concerned, and going BluRay/1080p is something I've wanted to do for a while now.

I really entered the raffle because I like to support the local animal shelter, they've helped my animals a couple times at a very fair cost and they're no-kill, so I'll bring them a 50# bag of dog food once in a while and donate when I can.

Now I have to see if I can bend the budget to afford the Star Wars Saga on Bluray... NINETY BUCKS? Evil George, you are evil.

Last year I bought a Visio 42" 1080p, 120hz and 3D. Regular DVDs look amazing, while 3D movies are stunning. The PS3 is my blu-ray player.
