And now BD's HS is trying not to let him graduate early. He is currently a junior and will only need 6 more credits to graduate, two civic classes will do it. Taking all double credit classes at local junior college, he is already to go to college as a sophomore. fugging idiots.

Reminds me of my high school.

At the end of my junior year I only needed 3 more classes to graduate. 1st semester of my senior year I put in for the 3 classes I needed and that was all. The school counselor calls me into his office and says I can't do that. Says I have to have 4 classes minimum, would not listen to reason. Finally I ask him what class he teaches and to sign me up for that. Then I never once went to his class and still graduated early with him objecting.

I remember all the health issues I had with my mom and dad in their later years so I feel for those going through it themselves. Plus I was 90 miles away so I had to jump in the car and go down frequently, and once for two weeks it was every day due to my dad's heart attack which he didn't recover from.

They don't write a book on any of this.
