Default Springfield XD-9?
Edit: It is the XDm-9

Wife has been wanting a pistol (most likely to use on me) ever since I took her shooting. Friday I went looking to get her a Ruger LC-9 for X-mas after some advice from a friend. When I got to the gun store, they had a Spingfield XDm-9 in the box for 450$ with all the gadgets and whistles.. The story was it was bought, used in a competition, and then brought back a week later to trade in on some new pistol that had just come out. I looked at it closely and appears the sellers story holds up.

Anyways, I can't pick it up until Tuesday and am just curious what TVB thinks of the XDm-9.

Seriously, I am gone Monday through Friday and she has knives hidden all over the bed room because she is here by herself. I think this might give her some comfort and she loves to shoot with me.

I have the XDm .45 and its a great pistol. I've put close to 2000 rounds through it over the past year and it's been flawless.

Personally, I like the XD-40 or the XD-45. It's just preference though. I'm not a big fan of the 9mm.

I have an XDM9 and an XD 9 sub, and both are great guns!! Does she want it for the house, or to carry? XDM might be a bit big for carry for a female.
