Evinrude, was metal carb with plastic bowls, and a Briggs under the orange and black plastic cover.
Third carb was all metal.

The last time I had carb problems with my riding mower, the mechanic said it couldn't be serviced and sold me a new one. It was probably plastic too.

Took to targa top off the Vette and took her for a long drive. A mustang pulled up, looked over and gave me the “let’s do this nod”.

Being the sweet girl that I am, I don’t usually tell a guy no.










Felt good to heat the tires up. My passenger (major at the PD) was not too thrilled with me. So I drove him to sonic and got him an apology cherry limeaid.

This is a narrow push mower for the ditches...took the carb apart to find all plastic, except a part or three....even the float arm that hold the needle is plastic....
needle = metal w/rubber tip = normal
seat = plastic carb part.

First I heard of this was Mitsubishis masquerading as Chryslers back in the early 80s. The carbs on certain 4 cylinder engines had plastic bodies, with predictable result. Not good.
