I watched a documentary the other day about Canadian outlaw biker gangs. The 'run up' was how successful, crime free, and great Canada was before about 1971, when the conservative old guard got replaced by 'progressive' liberals. In the ensuing decades, crime has exploded and the quality of life has plummeted as a result. I've been to Canada a few times, but remember in the early 1970's it was far cleaner, prettier, and better maintained than the US. Haven't been there in over 20 years.
So, basically I am saying that the same 'woke' politics **** up countries world wide, be they Canada, Sweden, or the USA. Woke doesn't work out too well for us middle class folks.

Massive immigration and soft on crime policies are killing this country.

Legalizing pot didn't help, either.

The city I work in is unrecognizable to me. If I teleported you here and drove you around a bit and asked you to guess what country you were in, you'd probably guess India.

I went to Niagara Falls in 2018 and we were the only whites there. The rest were Indians from India. TOTALLY different than when I was there in 1976 for the Bicentennial.
The Indians we have here all are doctors and truck drivers. They are high functioning if not a bit pungent. No crime from them at all, really.

According to 2021 statistics the city where I work is over 52% "South Asian" which is their polite way of saying "Indian".

I think it is way more than that.
