Yep, doggie #3 is almost here.
Wifey flies to NC next week to pick him up.
Elvis is a doodle-type, should get to 30 pounds.
Ringo and Dolly are anxious, but not more than I, as I love me doggies.
Middle daughter 'claims' she will be taking Ringo to Denver soon, I need to be complient with this, even though it may kill me.

I guess one might say my life is going to the dogs,,, cannot think of a better life!!

Maybe someone noticed, but here are all the doggie names in the family:

1) George (Harrison), gone, but remembered daily
2) Ringo (Starr), the sunshine of my life, best rescue ever
3) Freddie (Mercury), good dood, now resides in Austin with daughter #1
4) Dolly Dolly (Parton), wifey's dog, Ringo's best friend and abettor in buttsniffing pursuits
5) (Sir) Paul, resides in Denver with daughter #2, tough old bastard, 10+ year, rescue, almost killed last year by sitter's huge dog bites
6) Elvls (The King), he has a lot to learn, Ringo can be his mentor
7) Waylon (Do Not Ask), will be my next dog, leaning to a GSD

I live 12 miles from a wonderful "no kill" shelter with plenty of dogs. I wouldn't fly to New York for a dog, of for well.....ANYTHING for that matter.

I agree, Ringo was a shelter doggie.
This is wifey's pursuit.
My next dog will be from a shelter, and the one after that.
