There was plenty of broth. Last pic is the aftermath after seconds on noods and ham.

Sis and bro in law came over tonight to “help” unpack - right.

Did City BBQ. Great joint and a chain (like Dickey’s)

Ribs, brisket, NC pulled pork, corn pudding, baked brisket beans and Mac n Cheese. Good shit.

Damn. The plumbing portion of my disc brake upgrade is complete. I spent hours under my dash dialing in the master cylinder piston rod length and un****ing a mess left behind by a previous owner. I forgot how frustrating it can be to fabricate as you go instead of just changing stock parts.

Yes. Just edited to upload the correct photo. What a pain in the ass. Spoke to my brother that owns a shop today and told him he has no fear of me opening a shop and giving him any competition. I'd be broke in a month as slow as I am.

When I put the stroked motor in the 69 Mach, at idle I didn’t have enough vacuum for power brakes at idle. That was a nightmare to define, plan and then upgrade

When I put five speed in one option was hydraulic clutch. NFW, Z- bar is simple, worked and then worked first time wo adjustment

One of the unexpected fixes was this mess. The brake light plunger was offset and missing the brake pedal lever by a quarter inch or so. Rather than fix the problem, this hunk of steel was bolted to the lever to make up enough room to activate the plunger. The brake pedal has always sat just a tik lower than the clutch, but I never tried to investigate. The lever wasn't even touching the pedal stop because this was in the way.

I had that same vacuum issue with my old Vette. Funny how nowadays I could have done an LS swap and got more HP out of the box.

You won't eat some fooking great pork but will chew on something that tastes like a collection of soft pennies? Damn, you're just wrong. Now, if that liver came from a goose that was stuffed for its entire life and then it was seasoned and canned, I'm in. Don't know why people decided it was a bad idea to force feed geese with a tube from Home Depot so that I could have my pate on toast squares. Bastards.
