I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theories, but I do think that you would be a fool to ignore the impact that Taylor Swift has on a significant part of the vote.

It's fairly amusing that those on the right continuously ignore the impact of pop culture, celebrities, etc when it comes to elections.

Sorry guys, the days of people basing their votes on what they read in the Sunday newspaper after listening to the structured debates that covered the topics of the day on the AM radio are gone. It's a popularity contest. Period.

I don’t think that the right ignores the impact culture etc. on voting. I think that there is not much that that can be done about it.

I agree. It does seem all the younger, likeable celebs are all dems. Or at least all the vocal ones.
