America was founded on Christian beliefs...244 years ago. Things have changed. We are still a melting pot and many Americans don’t share Christian beliefs because we were also founded on religious freedom. I find Pence’s faith-based LGBTQ position disturbing. JMHO. YMMV. I also find the Muslim faith’s LGBTQ doctrine disturbing. Gays have been around since before organized religion. Let them do their thing. Who cares?

I have faith in Christianity, but don’t believe every word of the (King James) Holy Bible is the gospel truth. It may be “the word of God”, but He didn’t write it. It’s influenced by the times, the king, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and the 47 scholars/clergymen who compiled it. It is a great work with philosophical ideals everyone can benefit from, regardless of one’s faith or lack thereof, but it is not perfect because man is not perfect.
