On a 2.5 mile oval there would not be more traffic. They would be spread out. Cup cars don't have even close to the downforce at low speeds of the ALMS cars and they weigh WAY more with less tire. The speeds would be even slower, there would not be the oversteer corner exits because there are no corners of that nature to exit. It would be driving around in circles for 5 hours at highway speed.

If you think that watching a bunch of full bodied Cup cars cruising around the high banks at 100 mph for 5 hours would be exciting... well... I don't know what's left to say.

We'll just disagree.

they pretty much have to, haulers have to be in Phoenix next week. wouldn't surprise me if they send them out on time, and if it's misty, run a mess of yellow laps, just to get to the half way point somehow before calling it an official race.
