You probably can get a house where you live for 100k making your mortgage between 4-500 and you have a mobile home? I could see if you lived where i do than a mobile home would be between 2,100 to 3.500 a month space rent not counting the mobile home for 200k plus. I'am not knocking you for living in a mobile home but the space rents go up where your mortgages don't.

I'd rather have a pile of cash in the bank to be able to travel wherever and whenever I want. This place allows me to lock it up and go for months without the worry of losing the massive investment of a house.
I paid my dues, now I'm enjoying the fruits of my labor.
Wait until 65 to retire? Have fun with that Stevo.

Oh, and if you weren't embarrassed, you'd have posted a pic of your baller house.

You're all talk and no walk.

You're clueless. There are pics of our house - a block from the beach BTW - previously posted here. Find them if you want. I'm not 65 and I'm consulting part time making more in an hour than you ever made in a day, which is why I got no "free" stimulus money from the Dem idiots you voted for.

The new subdivision across the street from the entrance here is selling houses from the Low $400's. No marina access and an HOA fee of $625/month.
There is no cheap real estate or cheap houses anywhere near Lewes or Rehoboth Beach. The closer to the ocean, obviously, the higher the prices.
I pay $500/ yr in property tax and 685/mo HOA fee. To be here for the spring and summer only, it's just not worth it to me to own a house, especially when the real estate bubble is going to burst soon.
Maybe when it does, I'll buy one, but for now, this fits the bill to a T.
That, and I rent when I go to Florida or Arizona or wherever I decide to do winter. The overhead of owning is just insane imo.
My parents were always throwing money at their place in Bonita Springs. Great place, but to spend that kind of coin every year just to stay there for 6 or 7 months was stupid. I paid cash for this place so upkeep, hoa fee, and low taxes are the only outlays.

Why are the HOA Fees so high, are their a lot of green belts and trees.
Do they pay for water and trash and maintain the outside of the mobile for free?

2 pools, a marina, well kept grounds, paved roads, garbage pickup.
It doesn't suck here. I maintain my area. Well, amigos do anyway.

Ya, the pics show good tread on the tires, so I'm thinking that it's a great deal.
I have these off road treaded things on there now, and they're just not conducive to long rides. Fun on the beach, but no road comfort at all.

Celebrating 27 years of one and only marriage.

However, if I lived in a trailer she would have been long gone.
