Default For Garf

The best Mandolin player out there, and tremendous fiddle player, and just about any other instrument. Sam Bush He really shreds it on Midnight Rider.

Ronnie McCoury

As good as I need - plus, stays in bluegrass.

Ronnie McCoury is probably best known for lending his tight mandolin picking skills to his father's Del McCoury Band, although he's also appeared on several other artists' recordings and has been known to play as a duo with his brother Rob (guitar). Ronnie was also named IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year for eight years in a row (1993-2000).

Sam is great but strays from his original bluegrass roots. Kind of like how Bela Fleck turned out with his banjo - too jazzy.

Sam Bush didn't stray he always played with other musician with different kind of music. Here he is in 1980 with Leon Russell.

swim naked
in ponds &
I write be-

about you are
not exactly
forbidden, but
exalted because
they are useless,
not intended
to get you
because I have
you & you love
me. Its more
like a playground
where I play
with my reflection
of you until
you come back
and into the
real you I
get to sink
my teeth. With
you I know how
to relax. &
so I work
behind your
back. Which
is lovely.
Nature
is out of control
you tell me &
thats whats so
good about
it. Im immoderately
in love with you,
knocked out by
all your new
white hair

why shouldnt
something
I have always
known be the
very best there

you from my
childhood,
starting back
there when
one day was
just like the
rest, random
growth and
breezes, constant
love, a sand-
wich in the
middle of
day,
a tiny step
in the vastly
conventional
path of
the Sun. I
squint. I
wink. I
take the
ride.
WTF?

Whoah! I especially liked the guitar effect that sounded like Leslie organ!
