No it's not. The Koran is ONE persons "actual" Revelation from his god. And whatever he wrote toward the end of his life superseded his previous writings. And as Mohamed got older he became a viscous blood thirsty animal intent on a world wide Caliphate.

I spent the better part of a decade searching for a belief system I could take to heart. I found none and over the last few decades realize I don't need or want one.

I did have th opportunity to read the Koran while In college under the tutelage of a professor who was an adviser to Cyrus Vance. After I read it the first time and told him I felt is was very similar to Christianity and other religions he told me to read it again and remember that all the writing at the end of the book supersede the beginning.

It was then it dawned on me that Islam is corrupted by the ravings of a blood thirsty hater.
