Default See, this is what happens

when you don't follow the instructions on page 4. So I'm out for an evening drive by myself tonight in the C5 as the wife is out of town, a little Bob Seger on the stereo, arm hanging out the window and just having a good time (sorry Sweet).

I come to a light and pull along side of a nice silver C4, looked like a 89 or 90 and I ignored my owner's manual and waved. What did I get in return? He gave me the bird

Soooooo, what was his problem? Could he be from CF and has an inferiority complex with C5s? Maybe his Lambo was in the shop and he was slummin' in the C4? Perhaps he was jealous of the music because his Bose is blown? In any case, I hope he enjoyed getting smoked..................

I had some 20 year old kid come back into the taco shop me and my friend were in just to ask if my black 91 was a ZR-1. A far cry from the disrespect I used to get dealt in my purple LT1.

I woulda waved back. The best so far was a mid year gave me the wave.

Did you know the origin of the 'finger' ?

During a war long ago between the French and the English, when an English soldier would kill a Frenchmen, he would cut off his middle finger and take it back to the King. Near the end of the war when the French dug in and the English could advance no further, the French stuck out their middle finger and laughed as the English retreated.

So it goes....

Actually, and I hate to be a stick in the ass, but it goes back much further than that. All the way to ancient Rome, long before the wars of the French and English. I had heard a different version of what you posted and it went that the English would cut off the middle fingers of French archer's so they couldn't shoot their bows anymore. The French won victory at a maor batle and showed the English that they still had their fingers.

Also, see this: http://www.ooze.com/finger/html/history.html

Also, see this: History of The Finger
I think that's what I heard, I just forgot the reason why they cut off the finger (archery).
