Don’t know any Wuhan virus recipients locally, but since my wife works for a Biotech that specializes in pandemics, our economics haven’t been better !!

My daughter's high school is shut down tomorrow 1 day early for Spring Break as a precaution. She goes to a Christian school, and someone who was in the building last night for worship has been exposed. They are prepared to start online only after Spring Break depending on the situation.

The news from Holland is good. My niece was not tested because the caseworker that reviewed her case felt that she was a very low risk for Corona virus. Also, my SIL reports that after 5-6 days of being very sick, she seemed somewhat better yesterday. Kinda normal for the regular seasonal flu.

I think this map is out of date. There are over 15,000 cases and 1000 deaths in Italy alone and your link doesn't reflect anything near that for Italy.

Remind her to be careful since those who've had it reported a huge improvement on days 5-6 and then they nose dived again for another 4-5 days before feeling better again.

Good to hear the CDC reporting that at least 80% of those who will get infected will have mild symptoms not requiring any medical care at all.
Shocking stats given 1/3 of the US is obese and ~1/6 of adults are smokers.

Add to that the percentage that have serious auto-immune disorders, are above 70 etc etc.
Looks to me the odds for a relatively healthy person under the age of 75 has little to worry about.
