CNN said it was one of the "darkest" speeches ever made at a convention. I don't know about anyone else, but I for one think it's high time this country was given a good dose of reality. It's all this feel-good crap that helped to get us into this mess in the first place.

That's pretty funny. It was the collective temper-tantrum of the far Right that got him nominated; now they're trying to shame the reasonable people to support him, with the battle cry, "he's not Hillary!" If you want him, by all means support him

It's really nauseating since I force myself to watch half the time MSLSD and Fox. MSNBC daily presents guests emphasizing how "dangerous" Trump is. It's the typical passive aggressive style they employ like the self righteous bunch they are.

Trump personality is such that he may use nuclear weapons to prove a point. I concur. The biggest threat to my security and that of the world is to have Trump's finger on the nuclear trigger.

Trumps agenda has some appeal to us white males but Trump is a sleazy use car salesman type and makes me cringe. A purveyor of BS. He is so shallow that when married to the Donald, Ivana Trump , a world class skier couldn't ski in Donald's presence, since she was so much better than him.

As bad as Hillary is, unfortunately , I'll have to give her a vote with prejudice.

I am constantly and repeatedly amazed at how anyone sees any redeeming value in Clinton. I have online friends that hate Trump, but know NOTHING of his position on anything. They think he's a bully, a bigot, or whatever it is that the news and the late night hosts push out there.

I have gone a layer deeper and am able to separate "STRATEGY" from "POLICY". Trump is using all the tools in his arsenal and to me, that is an efficiency of resources and tells me he will play hardball with trade, with foreign policy, and with liberals and he will get the job done.

If you make a list of all the groups that Clinton has pandered to, you realize that they all will eventually clash with another of her favorite children. If you pander to Hispanics, you turn against the white middle class, If you pander the working Joe, you go against Wall Street, if you go against Wall Street, you lose your source of income. If you cater to black America and promise them jobs, you have to entice business to stay here. All her sucking up makes her tasks impossible.

Trump on the other hand says "Here is where we are going. Get on board, or get lost".

I will tell you that I'd bet the farm that the unemployed that ACTUALLY WANT TO WORK, will absolutely get a job with Trump in office. With Hillary in office, they will simply fade off the unemployment roster and be consider "an improvement in unemployment".

That doesn't even BEGIN to scratch the surface of what a liberal Supreme Court will do to this country.

She must be stopped at all cost and HE is the ONLY path to do so aside from divine intervention.

As if we’re supposed to worry about (or believe) what Trump's ghost writer says 30 years after releasing a book that made him rich? Suddenly he's outraged because Trump is in the news and he can get some traction in the media? Please. Tony Schwartz shot his credibility to hell the second he decided that he had no problem writing an alleged bullshit book because someone dangled a lot of money in front of him.

And this whole notion that Trump will use nukes is laughable. We’ve had far more reactionary leaders in power than Trump (the aforementioned Reagan, Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev) and no one's pushed the button. Every world leader knows that nukes are a zero sum game.
