And does anyone remember Barak plagerizing in a 2008 speech, or Biden plagerizing a law school paper? Let's keep this in perspective. CNN has it as top of front page news. BFD.
What do you expect from an ex eastern european fashion model? At least she is a real woman, unlike some of the Dem "women" out there.

do you have two ID's here (34redrage) ???

Curious, did you search to see if this happens repeatedly??? or were you simply just wanting to go as far as making yourself confident with your current political beliefs?

I'm not trying to be "Dick from the internet" here; but the news media will leave out certain things... in an attempt to sway people. Please don't get fooled by this. You have to dig deep to determine if this is anything to get aggrivated about ot not (based on how regular an occurance it actually is).

Quite so. So it's no big thing. Speechwriter gets canned. No harm, no foul.
And no need for every one of the MSM outlets and Dem media flacks to have a purple hemmorhage about it.

And, just to beat another dead horse, it pales in comparison to the actual job incompetance and insanely careless mishandling of classified materieals by HRC. Using a private server to avoid her underhanded dealings becoming part of the public record, which they would have been on a .gov server. No comparison, man.

You guys are missing the entire point here! Trump explains how he gets free media exposure in his books, you should read them sometime. This is classic Trump and it's like he's playing 4-dimensional chess while the media is playing tic-tac-toe. Here's how it works:

By using a bit of Michelle Obama's campaign speech (which itself lifted lines from many others) Trump accomplishes several things. First you will have people actually reading and listening to her speech that otherwise wouldn't have. It's out on over 50 left-leaning news sites already. Second, they will be actually paying attention to what she is saying. Third, it will cement in their minds that this is what a First Lady says in a speech. Fourth, it offers a preview of the sale. Trump talks a lot about that in his books.

Trump offers a half truth or error, knowing the media will jump all over it and give him free publicity on a speech they would otherwise not even cover at all. Think about that. It's pretty damn brilliant.

And just keep in mind, if this sort of thing angers you (Trump using the media like this) it shouldn't because they in no way are playing fair with him. They aren't used to getting the tables turned on them over and over again. He'll do this to them constantly, and it's pretty damn glorious to see after decades of Republican politicians getting hammered by them with no push-back whatsoever.

Also, she also "plagiarized" Rick Astley
when she said last night "He'll never ever give up, and most importantly he'll never ever let you down."

When a non-democrat does the same... they are "plagiarizing".

On one hand... this two faced media is funny in what they try to do; on the other hand it's frightening to see some people use these outlets as a "final, complete" word on the subject at hand.

And the best part was the part they "plagiarized" is actually Michelle Obama talking about individual initiative and responsibility. So people get to hear her espousing Trumpian beliefs. Probably comes to a shock to them.

I Googled that and couldn't find anything relevant. Did she sight her references in her speech?

Quoted because this is the best and most concise summary I have ever read on how Donald Trump outsmarts his opponents.

And best of all, they just keep on underestimating him and never learn.

It was two separate paragraphs, not back to back. I heard the audio on POTUS, the political news station on Sirius, they tend to be non-partisan. I don't see how hearing the audio is somehow trying to do anything other than displaying facts.

I'm not a Trump fan, I'm even less a Hillary or Obama fan; but there's no denying someone plagiarized the material. I said it before, it's only significant in that it makes them look stupid. But the Trump fans don't seem to mind that.

"Only limit to achievement is the limit you place on your own dreams." -Crossing Antarctica 1991 page 318

"The only limit to the height of your achievement is the reach of your dreams." -Michelle Obama 2008

"The only limit to your achievement is the strength of your dreams and you willingness to work for them." -Melania Trump 2016

And...

"And Barack stood up that day, and he spoke words that have stayed with me ever since. He talked about "the world as it is" and "the world as it should be." -Michelle Obama, Wife of a former Community Organizer

"The standards of judgment must be rooted in the whys and wherefores of life as it is lived, the world as it is, not our wished-for fantasy of the world as it should be." - Saul Alinsky, Community Organizer

And...

“And Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don’t know them, and even if you don’t agree with them.”
And Barack and I set out to build lives guided by these values, and pass them on to the next generation. Because we want our children — and all children in this nation — to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them." Michelle Obama 2008

“...is based upon the application of certain basic truths: that integrity is all important, that your word is your bond, that if you owe a person money you pay him back, that you work hard, enjoy what you do and show a loyalty to those with whom you work and do business. He instilled in me simple, clear cut values and a will to succeed.” Business success in South Africa written in 1992 by African author Rob Marsh

And, well, there's this:

"Because they know he is honest and trustworthy, a man of his word, and his word is his bond, and they know he has exceptional leadership skills. Isn't that exactly what we want in the President of the United States?" Elizabeth Dole, 1996
