I hate to say it, and it will be pandering, but Trump needs a woman to negate Hillary's woman card. O won because people thought, well, both candidates suck, I'll just vote for the one that will break the glass ceiling. Voters haven't gotten any smarter in the 4 years since O got re-elected, so those same people are going to be chomping at the bit to break the glass ceiling again, policies or competency be damned.

Newt - on paper - always looks like a good choice, but he falters in front of a camera. But, if the data shows it all comes down to one state needed... whoever is associated with that state will prob get the nod.
