I had a vision...
In late April, the DOJ indicts Hillary Clinton on suspicion of distributing classified information, ending her bid for the Presidency. By default Bernie Sanders becomes the Democratic nomination for President.
In July, the GOP, acting against Donald Trump, breaks the Convention allowing delegates to put forward Ted Cruz as the nomination for President. Donald Trump, being Donald Trump, is enraged and begins a write-in campaign for President. The GOP splits like a Russian ballerina. In November, the Democrats, despite seeing the lowest voter turnout in 40 years, handily beats both Trump and Cruz, because they split the base and rendered every republican vote moot. Bernie Sanders becomes the 45th President of the United States. |

That's how we got the first Clinton in the White House. Ross Perot, not getting enough delegates to procure the Republican nomination, ran as an independent and split the vote from George H. W. Bush.

She'll never be indicted, Obama will see to it that it never happens. But I picture the DNC convention turning to Bernie if it looks like he's the sure thing; her negatives are almost as bad as Trump's.
This election is amazingly fvcked up, and we deserve whatever bad comes from it. |
