Devastating news
For those that may have noticed, I haven't been around much lately. My stepdad, who has been the only father I have ever know, was disgnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Some of you know my mother is just getting over a vicious bout with cancer herself. My dad is my boss and the owner of my family's business as well. It's not good. The inital prognosis is that he will be in the hospital for at least six to seven months with rare visits home. This is a crushing blow to my family and has me scared shitless. I take anxiety medication and forgot to get my prescription filled yesterday and I am just in a complete and utter stupor. I haven't have a drink in a week, just don't feel like it. I don't know what's going to happen. All of our sub crews know and have told me that I am going to have to be the one to hold the business togethor. There is already so much work to be done by my stepbrother and myself that is you would be amazed to what we accomplish. This will add three times that much. I can handle it but I am worried about my mother. I don't know how much more she can take. Please pray for us and I will update the entire condition and expected treatments and prognosis when I can. Stay on your meds, eat right and exercise fairly regularly if you can. The best thing you can do for your family is to take care of yourself and be the best YOU that you can right now.
