Neighbor has a Palisade. Looks nice, but that's all I know about it - except that it's a Hyundai.

Had a 2015 denali and it was nearly a lemon, finally dumped it after 49k miles. Id recommend anything but the GM.

Not a GM thing. That's all of them. Some last forever, some are crap out of the box. Friend bought a new (2020) Expedition super double platinum extra special that has been on a lift more than on the road. His brother's 2019 F150 has been stuck on a lift for the last 2 months waiting on nonexistent parts for the electronic rear end that went out after 3 months. I've seen GM full size SUVs go to 400k miles. I've seen them fall apart at 30.

Unfortunately it's pretty much the luck of the draw regardless of brand.

That said, wife drives a 2018 Escalade and it has been absolutely flawless through 70k miles with the exception of the turn signal in the mirror letting in moisture and failing (fixed under warranty).

Agree with above statement.

Sometime you get a lemon.

My Yukon Denali was the most dependable car I’ve
Ever had besides our Toyota Tundra and 14’ Vette.

My experience with multiple tahoes and yukon is completely the opposite. Every brand builds a lemon on occasion.

Just get a Ram. Or Durango SRT Hellcat.

I've really soured on GM since I found out their CEO is a communist and EV is all they care about.

When I bought my Ram Hemi last summer, didn't even consider a GM. I'm not lining the pockets of commies.

With that said, it looks like your criteria leaves you with either an Escalade or Yukon Denali?

Personally, I'd only do Toyota in this segment.

Had a 16 Denali, big lemon at 10K miles. My Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk was by far the best vehicle. In 23,000 miles it went back to the dealer four times for oil changes and tire rotations. No creaks, groans, wind noise, rattles or issues with the powertrain. It was only a 5 seater though. The Durango Hellcat is a seven seater, 707 HP in a SUV.

I purchased a Ford Explorer ST last month to replace the Hawk and so far it has been trouble free. The twin turbo provides good acceleration, not as fast as the Hawk, but enough to make you smile and be pushed back in the seat.
I would have gone back for another Hawk but couldn't find one with the color or options I wanted.

I've moved away from GM after the Denali and CTSV which both had engine and transmission issues. Maybe it is this area but support from the dealer with a GM product sucks.

A lady friend loves her Durango for comfort and towing their boat. She bought another one after an accident totaled her old one.

I drive a Honda SUV, but would probably go with the Durango if I had a large boat to haul.
