GWiz has been taught to suck it up and shake it off since the first time she fell and skinned a knee. She's Gen Z....thankfully not a Millenial, but the rest of her generation are pussies too. She's seeing that in her work life now too.
April 9th, they get a "Mental Health" day. Day off to decompress. Suck it up buttercup. So happy GWiz has that workhorse gene.

Our attendance policy is so lenient it bleeds liberal HR. The hourly get 3 attendance hits in a 13 week rolling period before we do any discipline. So in theory, they can take an additional 12 days of unpaid vacation and not get any discipline for it. Of course when they call off, which they do in droves, they get picked up later in the week for an Overtime shift. Call off for a day, work an overtime shift at 1.5X pay, get a day off and get paid .5X base pay to do it.
Most of the Millennial's at work practice this approach. UGH, liberal HR, the curse of a corporation. |
