It was nothing to marvel at, but it was kind of fun. I'd like to do a half marathon and several 5/10k runs in 2012.
You also might want to try cycling

I hate it...ugh...I can't even begin to fathom how much I hate cycling...its right up there with how much I hate walking on a treadmill (so boring, no scenery).

I know cycling would be so much better on my knees (I probably killed them when I tried jogging before) but I just never got into the bike "thing." That and I'm just too cheap to buy a bike...I know them things are not cheap.

I don't know, I need some sort of physical fat burning, metabolism boosting exercise.

Before I was doing about 10:40/miles..that was my sweet spot...nice and slow for the fat kid. Great distance I ever covered was 7 miles twice. Otherwise it usually was a 3.5 - 5.5 mile run and I lost almost 100 lbs by doing it. Then my dumb self stopped doing it and and half of it came back...so I want that half gone again.

I always hated running unless it was on a basketball court or in the woods on trails.

Haha, there just isn't any trails around here to ride...there is a reservoir about 5 miles away that is 1.25 miles around that's paved. I started going up there, since I really do not like running on my road.

When you left for your PA trip it killed morale...and so did Datawiz's giveaway...after that the barn just hasn't been the same.

We used to ride bikes a lot, but haven't done it much the last couple of years. There is a levee a couple of miles from my house that, round trip, is about seven miles. We also have the Chickamauga Battlefield National Park about 15 minutes away. It's a nice ride, on paved roads, with little to no traffic. Very scenic, with a few deer usually appearing.

OK campers, Rise and shine. Don't forget your booties because it's cold outside.

Per Thoreau, groundhogs are not good eating. Too greasy.
