Default Car sitting too low

Just bought a C6 and really liking it. Only problem is the front end is sitting to low. The bottom plastic is scraping on everything. What would be the fix for this? I don’t know much about suspension so forgive me. It looks like I have regular shocks and not coilovers.

Could be a number of things, shocks are shot, could have been lowered, etc.
Take it to a Corvette specialist in your area, they should be able to figure it out.

My '09 C6Z scrapes on EVERYTHING, and it didn't do that when I got it 5 years ago, so I think it's a settling thing. That's the primary reason I got the front end lift on my 2021. Having said that, the only thing you're scraping is the vertical portion of the lower valence. They are cheap and easy to replace. The ride height can be adjusted, but I don't know how to do it. I'd vote for grab a few spare lower valences, keep them in stock, and call it a day. Enjoy your car.

I do agree with Norm, it could be a shock thing...but, my '09 only has 38k, shocks should NOT be an issue.

I will be willing to bet it was lowered by the previous owner. Simple fix (as long as the ride height adjustment bolts are not froze). Jack the front end up. At the end of each spring, you will see a bolt that goes through the spring. If it is backed out all the way you will only see a rubber pad on the lower part of the bolt. That rides on the lower A-Arm.
If that is what you see, simply put a bottle jack under teh spring near the bolt and jack it up until the spring and bolt at clear. Then simply take a 10mm wrench and turn it so more bolt shows below the spring. Not sure of the correct amount of bolt you need to meet the factory settings.
It is a simple job. I have lowered and raise mine and then lowered it again.

100% this. Raise it up on the factory bolts.

Free bump.

They probably fixed the issue by now.

No doubt...I'm just trying to bump up the activity in the C6 section since I live there now.

Yeah, I know...as mentioned though, maybe a bump in some of the older threads might get some of those dudes to come back. Wishful thinking I suppose.
