Police: Wife stabbed husband with grilling fork during dispute

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. - A Jeffersonville woman is facing charges for a domestic dispute with her husband.

Jean Saulnerond told police that his wife Melissa attacked him with a grilling fork during an argument at their home on Tuesday.

He was stabbed in the stomach and is in stable condition after undergoing surgery at University Hospital.

Melissa Saulnerond is charged with battery and criminal recklessness.

Dude is prolly already home..

Story really hits home for me...

My ex was from Hazzard, and tired to stab me at least three times with knives... I always managed to out run her, and waited till she was asleep before crawling through a window to get back in my house..

The only time she tried to shoot me, I dove down the stairs and was mid air when she made her best shot that missed..

The next day she confessed she was drunk the night before, but assured me her intentions were only to shoot me in the knee cap..

She truly loved me and would never kill me on purpose she told me.. I knew this was true..

We had kids together that I loved very much, so I hung in there longer than most ever would have..

But after they were raised and old enough..... I did get as far away as I could..
