I wouldn't buy that unless I could inspect the vehicle up on a lift. The engine bay pic made me cringe. There may be a LOT of broken components

Frame rails must be folded 15 degrees or more.

Sounds like the car was totaled and I'll bet the owner bought it back from the insurance company. Any guesses on what he probably paid for it? I've never been involved in this kind of thing and I have no idea. I'll take a wild guess at 5K. What does everyone else think?

When my mother wrecked the Camry I had bought her, it was worth perhaps $8000 when it was totaled. The insurance paid it off and told us we could keep the carcass. Since I was actually the one out the money, I planned on selling it to help make it a bit less of a hit when I bought her yet another car. Before I could, she sold it for like $800 to the salvage yard. Then she said she didn't know anything about it, but they had CALLED ME and TOLD ME that's what happened. So that's the only info I have about this subject.
