Question for Red..

I have a Gen V 454. On the block by the oil filter there are 2 ports that went to an oil cooler and back. I am not going to run an oil cooler. Can I just plug these ports or is there more that I have to do?

You can either plug them or run a loop back into itself. Why no oil cooler?

You sure the ports are on thr block, or in the filter adapter itself?

I'm transplanting this motor into an '80 model Chevy C10. It won't be driven a lot. So I don't think I'll need it.

They're in the block, next to the oil pan rail. Gen V and VI had it this way.
