King of The Mountain - '67 Vette
Anyone familiar with this movie? It's a 1981 vintage with Harry Hamlin and Dennis Hopper. Perhaps one of the most influential movies for me as a kid when it came to cars. I have always been deeply in love with the '67 Hopper (Cal) has and wanted to know if anyone could tell me what became of it.
For those who are unfamiliar with this movie......Hopper's '67 vs Hamlin's 356. |

I have little doubt that the exploding fireball at the end of the clip is indeed the same '67 coupe being driven in the rest of the scene.
The film was produced in 1980, a flared out, near derelict '67 coupe would have been just a 13 year old used car at that time. Cheap enough to destroy. . |
