Hey @99 pewtercoupe and RIKKI;
I was 19 and wanted to work in the round house, or B&B.

B&B meant I could high-rail and learn all the good hunting and fishing spots.

Saddly; I was put in the yard gang to learn to be the next yard foreman because the old one was retiring.
Nobody wanted to be the yard gang foreman and I had no idea why.

After cleaning the 3rd carbon black derailment in the yard that summer; I resigned and went into refrigeration.

Just thought you should know.
