Yup. You are correct. After helping me with logistics on the GTO over the years, you are aware that with only 380 at the wheel, could still get squirrelly. Since you are familiar with 600 rwhp on your C5, you knew how to control it.

In safely playing with the GTO with no one around, it hooked up nicely out of the hole.

The best part will be at MSR coming out of a corner. Maybe you could stop by. Hopefully not as a last second emergency to give me a ride home like last time. haha

So the custom fender flares came out well. Work conducted by Leo at LA Autobody in Cypress, TX. Evidently they have a Facebook page which gets attention. But I have not seen it since I am not on Facebook.

Would anyone be interested in helping them out with a simple website? Management of the process and finances could go thru me. Final say would be from Leo. To be clear, just need something cheap and simple. I am a bit busy, so I do not want to take the time to build it myself.

Jody with Speed Logic introduced me to Leo with LA Autobody for custom flared fenders. Already had a mini-tub from many years ago. But still not big enough meat to the pavement. With Leo’s work, now have 315’s up front and 335 rear. Mono-block forged custom offset wheels by BC Forged, also introduced to me by Jody with Speed Logic.

GTO and I will be at MSR-H for TDE on 14-15 March 2020.

Man, be really careful on the track. You don't have much room on those fenders. If MSR has FIA curbing-STAY OFF OF IT. Seriously, take it slow and listen any time you turn. I bet you'll rub.

Very nice work, but i have a serious question. Would the car be faster if you drilled holes in the flares?

Nope. No rub. Looks tight. But that was the whole concept, to get bigger tread without rub.
