she liked it.

this was before final buffing.

your's has 3 coats of finish, and then excess is buffed off. any white specks are from the paper towels i was using.

i did all sides, but it really soaks into the cutting surfaces (end grain). when water no longer beads, apply another coat.

sigh.....

visited my neighbor this past weekend, she needed a hand hanging some mirrors, got done, asked how her cutting board was.

well....she's used it twice, and now it sits on her dining table with knick knacks displayed on it.....because it's "too nice to use"

i just give up....

would she rather have the version before i removed all the excess glue?
