he "major announcement" hyped by former President Donald Trump was revealed Thursday morning: a digital trading card collection.

"My official Donald Trump Digital Trading Card collection is here!" Trump wrote on Truth Social. "These limited edition cards feature amazing ART of my Life & Career! Collect all of your favorite Trump Digital Trading Cards, very much like a baseball card, but hopefully much more exciting."

Trump said the cards, which cost $99 each, "would make a great Christmas gift."

"Don't Wait," he said. "They will be gone, I believe, very quickly!"

I don't even know what to say. Tone deaf doesn't come close to how I feel. Is Trump self sabotaging himself? Maybe he knows the country is lost and this is just his way of bowing out of a rigged 2024 election no non uniparty candidate can win? I just don't get it.

This, by itself, isn't disqualifying for my vote, but damn......way to toss out fresh meat for your detractors, sir.
