He's decided not to tell me the last tests were very bad and most certainly cancer on liver. Something about the nodules weren't hard to indicate sarcoidosis so treatments started immediately for C.
Went through a week of chemo last week, 5 or 6 rad treatments started Tuesday. They put radioactive shit in blood also to attack liver cancer made him pray for death, nobody has been staying with him and he was laying in chair since bed and couch were in need of cleaning (use yer imagination).
Lost all hair basically except beard(weird), his long ass hair coming out by handfuls unfortunately. Some kind of leg sores from chemo started immediately, mostly under control.
Today's treatment (which he finally told me about today all of them) wasn't nearly as bad, said liver actually seems to feel better. Stomach not so much but ate today and didn't bother him. Treatments are 15 minutes now, takes half hr get there. PET scan before 24th and cancer dr appt. If hasn't shrank enough another round of chemo/rad. Another scan and treatment around Christmas if needed once a month. Hard to tell if you're getting better when treatments make you sicker.
He's not complaining much about the treatments, beats the alternative he said. His grandma had it decades ago and she didn't make it.


This will make you sad so might want to skip.
There was a 5yr old boy at chemo center took to him like a brother, made him read stories from books every day and made sure they had same times. His momma said he never takes to people, has a super rare form and had 5 or 6 bags every day. He's outlived all estimates already poor guy.
His momma was crying as he has weeks of treatments without his new friend being there anymore.
I about cried thinking about that kid, maybe my friend was there for a reason to help that one kid feel better. All things considered friend has it easy, maybe they helped each other during this time.

She "claims" semi-retiremet isn't my thing and I should go back to work full time, she claims I've worked about 46 hours since July 12th, I said STFU and go get me a beer.
