Great cars! Try to find a 93 Cobra best fox body Mustang in my opinion.

I've always preferred GM over Ford but if I got a truck i would seriously consider the new Fords.

Up north, yes. Down here we can get 4x4's cheap, which is why we do well with them on ebay. Diesel 4x4's are all over the place here, and can be bought for nothing. We're actually working on a large scale program designed to take more advantage of that than we were in the past.

Being from the snow states, I had to take all my years of truck experience and totally flip it.

A clean truck is a clean truck.
4x4 may add value, but a clean 2wd still brings good money.
AFAIK.

I like Fords, always have.
All I'm saying Nate is do we really need to hear about vehicle recalls every time one is announced.

You may say you like Fords, but I've NEVER seen you post about a GM recall.
If you have, you have my apology, if you haven't then...

Nah... I have a friend that is 6ft 3 and at the time he bought his 93 Cobra weighed close to 300 pounds. He was able to get in the car! (with the seat all the way back and the steering wheel tilted up). He also at that time had a 92 ex police car coupe and a 96 GT.

If you or someone on the forum just bought a vehicle with a known default, especially a safety default that just came out that morning, wouldn’t you want to know?

In Lars case, I brought it up because a neighbor had a similar truck that had this issue. It caused him to flip his truck. Sure didn’t want to think I knew about this and didn’t tell Lars if something bad did happen.

I think Lars understood and he even thanked me after I asked him to PLEASE have this checked out. Link to post below:

Corvette Forum - View Single Post - New Truck...

No need for apologies from anyone, some people rub others the wrong way. Out of thousands of posts and members, someone’s going to get pissed somewhere along the way.

REPO has had a hard-on for me since I don’t know when, not that I really GAF but so it goes.

Hey Nate, I understand, but you know that Tony works at a Ford dealership, yet the very second line in your post brings up the Ford F150 recall.
Did you think that a Ford dealer wouldn't know about the recalls?
Would it make a difference if anyone was going to buy one? No, as long as they fixed the problem.
GM, Chrysler, Toyota, etc. have plenty of recalls. Should people never buy those vehicle because of that?

Sorry, but it just seems that you love to lambaste Ford as often as you can.
And covering by saying that you "almost bought a Ford" or you "like them" is a very thin disguise for your love of GM and your GMC.

I also do not have a problem with your liking GM more than any other company. Everyone has a right to their opinion.

Spot on. And no hard on, it's just your bias towards GM being superior and every other car being junk is brutal. Even the domestics you claim to "like".

You are not posting to " help" anyone, be serious. If that was the case, we would see SOME GM recalls posted by you.

Sometimes people need to step back and look at their own posts.

Sorry for my rambling on, but I just thought we had escaped that shit over here.

I guess I was mistaken I'd rather just hang with friends and not argue about politics and car companies.
