My mom just called. Apparently my sister has COVID. She's in her early 50s, a marathon runner, but she also has lupus. They're giving her the antibody treatment. She's a health care worker and probably would have been vaccinated in the very near future. She just didn't quite make it.

Hoping she has a vey quick recovery.

I also have SLE and have patients with it that got COVID and did OK. As long as she isn’t obese, have uncontrolled diabetes/hypertension or cardiovascular disease, she should do fine.

Glad she is very fit!
