Default The dead parrot initiative is exhausting...
For survival's sake, we as a team, should focus on new content and not on parrot threads. We've been doing this for months and it pigeon holes us into being useless 1-trick ponies.

Just a thought.

Sometimes I'll come here & see 5-10 parrot threads & click to go to a different website instead of reading nonsense that isn't even funny.

In the old CFOT days, this behavior added new threads and post counts. While I agree that sometimes a parrot thread can be interesting, and I've done them before, once they start, they take off like a cancer.

Again, could be a function of our low membership, and nothing interesting to contribute.

I love humor like the next person...

The thread title is the joke and there is no need to go in to them at all.

They don't bother me. I repeatedly click New Posts, so unless a parrot thread is contributed to, they are outside my focus.
