Silica Gel
I've been putting those Silica gel bags in my car when I store it but there were some questions I've been wondering about.
I use the pretty good size bags, about the size of a paver brick. How can you tell when they are saturated and have lost their effectiveness? I've read that you can drive the moisture out and reuse them by heating them above 300 degrees but I don't know if the bags themselves can take that much heat. I also wondered why when I buy them that they don't come in a sealed package but oh well. |

I don't know Munch,I keep several bags in my Gun cabinets and ammo boxes and take them out once a year and put them in the oven at about 350 degrees for about an hour.
