We still have our original pre-war train depot in town. It was actually a stop during the "Great Locomotive Chase" during the Civil War. Our downtown still has many pre-war buildings. Too cloudy or I would snap more pics. I like our little downtown (the whole two blocks, lol)...but the business is pretty dead. Lots of good memories over the years.

The building sat in disrepair for many years. I don't remember how long ago but someone/some group finally came to it's rescue. It was repointed, trims were painted and a new roof was installed. Funny, there really aren't that many homes near the building, so the kids that attended this school must have had a long walk! Yea, yea, uphill both ways in the snow.....blah, blah

The photo seems to show different periods of construction? The front stone wall doesn't appear to match the "period" of the building. Also, the chimneys look somewhat out of place? Perhaps these were all later renovations? Need more info

I'm ready to post the voting poll, but several of you aren't clear on which photos you posted are for the contest...Makes it very confusing, and I hate being the one to decide.

DukeAllen - You posted a bunch. Are any of those for the contest, and if so, which one?
Grey Ghost, You posted pics in 2 different posts, neither indicating which one to enter.
