That being said, I'll watch the race that is on NBCSN right now, until my wife drags me away to do something.
In the past, I'd stay home and watch no matter what.

When nascrap forced Yahoo to give up fantasy racing, I was completely done with them.

I have no interest in the spec series any more. The chase is bullshit, neutered drivers is bullshit and no imagination left for parts as everything has to nascrap approved now.

Their bullshit rules have turned good racing into bore me to death "racing".

Get rid of the chase or make it 10 races long, now it comes down to one race. Get rid of the restrictor plates. I liked it when the drivers complained about the Ford/Chevy/Pontiac has a big advantage. etc. I likes the yahoo fantasy league, I was sorry to see it go, I joined two others to try, it's not the same. The races moved to cable stations for money. That did not help. I don't get to see them anymore.

When we lived in VA we went to Richmond to catch the race and even made it up to Dover a few times. When the COT came out, my interest went away. I haven't watched a race on TV in over 15 years. I have no interest in putting money in France's pockets.
I agree with DAB, go back to the roots. Race on Sunday sell on Monday.
This stupid chase, all because someone ran consistent and did not win a race, is stupid. If you run in the top each week you could win the series without winning a race. At least you are consistent in placing near the top each week.
When NASCAR changes back to the roots I'll start watching again.
You know the France's are so arrogant they'll demand the manufacturers change all the cars to look like NASCAR because their car is better.
