Got bored tonight so I shot these in the garage. I have no experience shooting product images so I thought I would challenge myself abit with this project.

Actually it was a pretty simple shoot. If I had more time I would have lite the label better and took away the harsh reflections.

Gear:
Canon 5D III
24-105 f4
(2) 600ex-rt speedlites
(1) Tranmitter
(1) Silver Reflector
(1) Grided Softbox
(1) Grided Speedlight cover
(1) cut out silver reflectors (right behind the glass)
(1) Black Backdrop
(1) Piece of Black Acrylic
(15) Fake Ice Cubes (made from plastic)

Setting:
I believe both of those were about the same. Around 1/80th f13 400ISO. Shot in Manual mode and flashs on ETTL (-1) exposure compensation overall. The rear flash was (0EC) the front flash was (-1 EC) above and beyond the (all speed lite FEC)

Set-up:
Simple black background with black acrylic. Camera on tripod with 10second remote timer. Both speelites were to my right and big silver reflector to the left. Front speedlite was in the grided softbox and feather across the product (not directly at them). The rear speedlite with a grid was also feather across the back of the product...however I used some silver cut outs back there (angled forward) to reflect some light in through the glass.

The good thing about product photography is it only takes a small area. That entire set-up was maybe 6'x5' in size. I have no experience in this subject matter, however I'm enjoying learning more each day
