$491?
Thinking about buying a Sig Sauer P320 subcompact conversion kit in 9mm with 2 extra mags.
Should I? |

If the expenditure will result in a lack of food on your table, then no.
If it won't cause any financial hardships, go for it |

My buddy has the 9mm and loves it. I've shot it and its a nice accurate piece.
He's looking forward to getting the .357 conversion. He does not have his carry permit yet so no subcompact. I like the one serial #, multiple platform concept because you don't have to register it each time you switch calibers. The one drawback is they're a bit pricey. |

Have the full size in 9mm and 40sw. Carry it everyday. Also shoot it in IDPA. Fine pistols. You can get the full size for $500 or so.
Yeah, I have the coin. I'm just cheap. |

Had to run look at a Water Heater some 15 miles away this AM and strange to spot this thread, I passed by a HUGE outdoor/gun/bow/fishing store that I done some business with about 8 years ago.....checking AMMO prices.....cripe, 500 .22 LR running some 75 bux or so....looking at pistols can't even find a Colt .45 auto anymore....50 billion guns in every damn caliber BUT, some of them I would have to shoot with two fingers on the grip, maybe worse.....pistols in what has to be aluminum and PINK Anodized....what part of 'I don't think so' is not understood???
makes me not even want to point a gun anymore unless I have to drop someone...... My H/K Benelli 12 ga I paid some 700 for, maybe almost 8 years ago, when I saw Nobummers on the horizon.....is now going at 1300 bux......wonder if I should vote D so my 12 ga holds it's value.....or shoots up another 400%....what you guys think??? A new Benelli is for a grand even..... Odd how I not recognize one pistol in the cases, much less the long guns.... No Colt .45 BUNTLINE revolvers...I used to have one, early 80's.....Sold it like a damn fool..... |

likewise, i can carry any pistol. but when you qualify, you can qualify on semi-auto and/or revolver. i did both. you also qualify by largest caliber, so i'm good up to 45 cal for semi-auto, and up to 44mag for revolver. i normally carry a 9mm. you can carry a smaller caliber, but not bigger. weird law, i just deal with it.
